You can build enthusiasm through United Way special events. Special events boost morale and congratulate employees for a campaign well done. They’re a great way to inspire and thank your campaign committee. And the message of United Way will be reinforced as a result of attending.

 





Franklin County Kick-off Luncheon: September 8


Franklin County will kick-off its area United Way Campaign with a luncheon on Wednesday, September 8. The event will begin at noon at the ATU-Ozark Campus Conference Center. Campaign Kick-off: September 9th


The 2010 Campaign Kick-off will be Thursday, September 9th. The event will take place at Golden Living in Fort Smith and will start at 11:30 am. The luncheon will signify the official start of the United Way fundraising campaign. The amount raised by the 2010 Pacesetter Companies will be announced and the 2nd annual Pacesetter of the Year award will also be presented to the winning company. The event is open to the community.

 

 

South Logan County Kick-off Luncheon: September 14


Businesses and volunteers in Logan County will kick-off their United Way Campaign with a luncheon on Tuesday, September 14. The event will begin at 11:30 am at the Jeral L. Hampton Meeting Place in Booneville. The event is courtesy of First Western Bank. Power of the Purse: October 14th


The 5th Annual Power of the Purse will be held Thursday, October 14 at the Holiday Inn in Fort Smith. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 am. Purses and theme bags will be available for auction. All proceeds from the event benefit United’s Way’s early childhood literacy initiative, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Tickets are $35. Corporate tables and event sponsorships are available. Campaign Wrap-up: December 9th

The 2010 Campaign Wrap-up will take place on Thursday, December 9th at the Holiday Inn Civic Center in Fort Smith. The luncheon will start at 11:30 am. At the event, business leaders, campaign volunteers and other community members will join together to celebrate the 2010 campaign. Participating companies will be honored and campaign awards will be presented including the annual Campaign Leader’s Award and various division honors. The event is open to the community.
