“Inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold”

Established in 1934, Girls Incorporated of Fort Smith is committed to inspiring all girls, ages 6-18, to be strong, smart and bold through educational and recreational programs and activities. Girls Incorporated works to help girls find identity, purpose and a sense of self-worth. It serves as an advocate for all girls, encouraging girls to take risks, to strive freely and to take pride in success.

Girls Incorporated of Fort Smith offers:

  • After-school programs with transportation from select schools to Nancy Orr Center.
  • Summer programs from June until August.
  • Educational programs in math, science, technology, literacy and life skills.
  • Basketball, soccer, volleyball and fast-pitch softball for girls only.
  • Cooking, arts and crafts classes, off-site field trips and swimming lessons.
  • National and local scholarship programs for high school seniors and college students.
  • Summer camp.
  • Youth Leadership Program for girls, sixth grade and older.
