Project Compassion was established to enhance the quality of life for nursing home residents who have no family or friends nearby. Volunteers provide the elderly with companionship, joy and quality of life.

• Established in 1972, volunteers provide one-on-one visits to nursing home residents who have no
  family or friends nearby.
• Volunteers assist residents with activities such as birthday parties, games, and other special
  holiday and social events.
• Musicians and pet therapists help create memories through music and pet visits.
