“Serving the elderly with centers for meals and socialization since 1975”

Sebastian County Retired Citizens Association serves elderly individuals with social, recreational and nutritional services in nine area activity/nutrition centers. The centers provide a home-like atmosphere to promote socialization and help alleviate the feelings of isolation and helplessness.

• Recreational activities are exercise, bingo, pool tables, card games, dances, music, bowling, trips and parties.
• Other activities are contests, computer lessons and birthday and anniversary celebrations.
• All centers provide on-site prepared meals and “Meals on Wheels” program for the frail and elderly homebound.
• Transportation is offered to and from the center and limited transportation for medical appointments, shopping and business.
