Did you attend United Way's Wrap-Up lunch at the
Holiday Inn on December 11 and hear the Abilities Unlimited choir? Did you
read the Times Record on
December 12? The headline read United Way Tops Last Year.
When you get into the article, you
will see that $2.2 million has been raised so far; but Hugh Maurras, 2007
Campaign Chairman, announced that he was confident his personal goal of
$2.6 million would be raised. And that is where you can make the difference.
There are still almost 200 companies
and donors left to report. If the company where you are employed has not
held their United Way
campaign or has not turned in their United Way packet, please see if
there is anything you can do to finish up your company's campaign.
