Advancing the common good means
creating opportunities for a better life for everyone in
our six-county area; Crawford, Franklin, LeFlore, Logan,
Sebastian and Sequoyah counties. Because when we reach
out to one, we improve the condition of all.
We all win when a child succeeds in
school, when families are financially stable and when
people are in good health. These results and changes
have benefits that ripple out to the community as a
whole.
Our goal is to create long-lasting
changes that prevent problems from happening in the
first place. Our success is measured, not only in
dollars raised, but also in lives improved and goals
achieved.
Much more than a fund-raising
organization, United Way directs resources toward our
communities’ most pressing health and human service
issues and serves as a vital link between those who can
help and those who need help.
The work of our 33 community partners
is aligned with the goals of our three impact areas.

Impacting our counties
Our partnerships with agencies help the six counties we
serve have access to services that help children, youth,
the elderly, persons with disabilities and others
overcome problems and move forward in their lives.
