Day of Caring Volunteer Registration

  • If you are registering a group please sign each person up individually, or email the names of each individual in the group, project and t shirt sizes to Carrie Terry at cterry@unitedwayfortsmith.org.
  • If you are registering as an individual enter NA.
  • Click on the drop down arrow to chose size.
  • Click on the drop down arrow to choose which breakfast you will be attending.
  • Please enter a second project choice in case your first project is full.

Project is Full – 79 – Charleston Dog Shelter
6 – 8 Volunteers 8:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Charleston Dog Shelter – Light cleaning, scrubbing, organizing of the facility. Walking and brushing dogs.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Cleaning and organizing skills. Dog-friendly.
SPECIAL NEEDS: Work gloves, hat, comfortable work clothes and shoes.

80 – City of Charleston
15 – 50 Volunteers 8:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
1418 East Main St. – City beautification – Main St. and parks.
SPECIAL NEEDS: Gloves, rakes and shovels.

81 – City of Charleston
15 – 50 Volunteers – City wide cleanup – residential. 8:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
1418 East Main St. – City wide cleanup – residential.
SPECIAL NEEDS: Gloves, trucks and trailers.

82 – Maggie House
10 – 20 Volunteers 8:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
1005 Second Street -Trim bushes, pressure wash sidewalks, clean/rearrange storage, clean/detail vans.
SPECIAL NEEDS: Work gloves, hats, sunglasses.

83 – Project Compassion
1 – 15 Volunteers 9:30 a.m. – noon.
Greenhurst Nursing Center, 226 Skyler Drive – Visiting with the residents and planting flowers in the garden.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Compassion for the elderly.
SPECIAL NEEDS: Can bring small plush animals or individual sized snacks for game prizes.
