Non-traditional students have to navigate an increasingly competitive college and career landscape, so the United Way of Fort Smith Area, in collaboration with the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund, is dedicated to empowering non-traditional students by providing them with the resources and support they need to thrive in higher education. Understanding the unique challenges single parents face, this partnership aims to alleviate financial burdens and create opportunities for academic success. Through scholarships and tailored support services, they help students balance their educational pursuits with family responsibilities, fostering an environment where dreams of a better future can become a reality. This initiative not only strengthens individual lives but also enriches the broader community by investing in education and personal growth.
