United Way Wrap-up Celebration
Corporate and community leaders will gather to recognize
commitment of time and money to United Way
(March 3, FORT SMITH, AR) –— Friends of the United Way of Fort Smith
Area will gather on March 15th at 11:45am to celebrate and recognize those who have
participated in the 2015-2016 annual giving campaign. The campaign continues in a
year-round effort to serve the community. The Community Impact and Investment
Celebration Luncheon will be held at the Fort Smith Convention Center, Hall C.
We will announce our agency investment and our community impact and investment
totals at the luncheon. We will also recognize the winners of our campaign awards for
the 2015 campaign. What’s important today is not just the dollar amount; but the
opportunity to recognize those who work hard to help United Way and those in need in our area.
United Way of Fort Smith Area invests annually in a range of education, income and health
programs as well as broader strategic initiatives. 100% of the donations given are invested
back into the community, by way of the agency allocation process, community impact
grants and response fund requests.

hard economic times to make our community a better place to live and raise our families.
