Maddie Stojanovic, Resource Development Director

Maddie Stojanovic is the Resource Development Director of the United Way of Fort Smith Area. She is a local native, having graduated from Greenwood High School and attended the University of Arkansas Fort Smith as a Lady Lion volleyball player.

While in the College of Business, Maddie worked multiple non-profit internships and led canvassing efforts for the Fort Smith Public Schools Millage Campaign. Maddie began her career at the First National Bank of Fort Smith, where she organized many local impact initiatives as a Community Relations Officer.

Before joining the United Way, Maddie led volunteer efforts for the United Way Classic All Pro Tour since its inception in 2020. These efforts continued with her through her time at ArcBest where she served as the Corporate Social Responsibility Analyst. There, she continued her contributions to the United Way and local community by serving on the Power of the Purse Planning Committee since 2019, was identified to participate as a United Way Community Investment Panelist, and led Partners in Education programming engagements for the Fort Smith Public Schools since 2018.

Additionally, Maddie serves as a member of the UAFS Alumni Advisory Council and College of Business Advisory Board. With extensive exposure to the needs of the local community and its residents, Maddie’s heart to impact the local communities through the United Way of Fort Smith Area makes her a great fit.

Maddie is most grateful for her family. She and her husband, Dusan, have one child, Luka.
